PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap This high tech cat door has been designed to allow your cat free access to the outside world, while also keeping neighborhood cats and other troublesome animals out. The PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap works by using radio frequency identification (RFID) to instantaneously scan your cat?s microchip ID without the need for a collar or tag. The cat flap remains closed and locked, and only opens for the cat/s you program into it. This allows it to deny access to strays, neighborhood cats, and other wild animals.
